Say goodbye to the Moto X. In its place grows the Moto Z, that will be the new top of the line smartphone from the Lenovo subsidiary company.
They’ll be a pair of 5.5-inch mobiles that will presumably be distinguished by camera capacities and other specs.
Based on the report, the Verizon-branded Droid Turbo and Droid Maxx follow ups will get some kind of renaming system: believe “Moto Z Play Droid Edition.”
In another branding move, modular backplates like a pico projector, stereo speakers, and camera handle with an optical zoom lens will be sold as “MotoMods.”
Why this matters: Lenovo is placing a business postage on its possession of Motorola. The new Moto G4 lineup is a bit perplexing, so we’ll need to see if this goes in the direction in confounding their customers with excessive choices that other businesses have taken or if the shakeup across all the various apparatus turns out to be successful.
